Job Description

Nusku City Of Bristol, England, United Kingdom

Electro Mechanical Engineer

Nusku is leading the energy transition with a revolutionary new heating system that allows for a seamless shift away from gas boilers to a more affordable and green solution.

Our aim is to reduce the carbon emissions from the UK’s 29 million homes, which currently account for 20% of the UK’s CO 2 footprint.

Who you are

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented engineer to join our development team. This role would suit someone who is creative, an analytical thinker with the curiosity and ability to deliver solutions across many areas, and who thrives on solving interesting problems. We expect you to have excellent collaboration skills, to ask the important questions, to present your analysis & reasoning, and to refine your solutions into the final product.

What the job involves

The job will require you to design, develop and specify key aspects of our heating system. This will include: build & test of product prototypes; development of control strategies for the thermo-fluid system; supporting real-world trials and lab-based testing; product commissioning, testing and performance analysis.

How we work

We are a team committed to improving the heat pump experience for our future customers and reducing the carbon emissions of home heating, and we would expect you to share in these core values.

This is a predominantly site-based role, developing products with the team. There is scope for some working from home around this to suit your lifestyle and the product development schedule.
